BIO
Larissa Hage is a contemporary artist currently residing in Zurich, Switzerland. With Serbian and Lebanese roots, her artwork mirrors the diverse threads of her multicultural identity, providing a lasting source of inspiration. Hage's artistic exploration delves into the intricacies of human resilience. Utilizing contrasting elements such as darker palettes, fragility versus strength, seduction and resistance, as well as beauty and grotesque, she weaves a narrative that celebrates inner transformations.
Passionate about the evolution of art with technology, Larissa pioneered the organization of one of Switzerland's first physical NFT exhibitions, seamlessly blending traditional paintings with Virtual Reality. “For me, creation is an all-encompassing obsession. Motivation springs from the perpetual pursuit of taking risks, summoning courage, and relentlessly questioning the boundaries that confine creativity."
Her works have been featured in solo and group exhibitions across Switzerland and beyond, including collaborations with the Swiss Embassy. Larissa Hage's pieces can be found in both national and international private collections.
